I’d bet every social network has a notice about this free seminar, but if you aren’t using social networks, check this out - Ed Poll is hosting what looks like a great seminar tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th at 3pm ET, 12pm PST.  Check it out at  his website: Title is: Social Networking to Enhance Your PracticeLawBiz®

Here’s a bit of the blurb: In this webinar, I’ll be working in tandem with social networking strategist David Nour, author of Relationship Economics (Wiley, 2008) to show YOU how to develop your presence on social networking sites to enhance your online visibility, bring your practice into the 21st century and ultimately increase your profitability as a firm.

What I’m interested in is that best practices will be covered, which brings it home to me that if you’re going to play the social networking game, you need to create processes, track results and take appropriate action- just as you do with any marketing strategy. Social networking may be more casual, more spontaneous, more intimate, but you still need to use it intentionally if you’re using it in your “build the practice of my dreams” game!

Note: You’ll see this kind of announcement when I find a resource I want to share. They’ll be titled “Check this out”. I try not to reinvent the wheel and intend to post more resources via the blog; it’s faster than maintaining a “resources” webpage. I never get round to updating the resources page. Even when I LOVE a resource and want to share. Resistance is futile. Resources will show up here.
