Law Office Clean Up! Marathon – Friday May 30th

by Barbara Nelson

What would be different if you walked into a clean office Monday? It’s a new month, a new start, and I want to create a supportive office environment. Clean up is this Friday; you’re invited to join me. Spend 2 (or 3) hours organizing your office, and be held accountable by a group of mutually committed reluctant office cleaner-uppers.  Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign up and get an email with call-in information & a reminder - Yes, I want a clean office!   (note, you will be asked ??’s as if you were buying something, but all you’ll get is the call-in info & a reminder on the morning of the 30th. your info will be kept strictly confidential)
  2. Be prepared- will you need labels, bins, file folders, trash bags, chocolate…?
  3. Plan your reward- will you leave the office an hour earlier? Take next Friday off? Have dinner at your favorite restaurant? Create an incentive.
  4. Call in at 2pm ET, Friday, May 30th, &
  5. When I ask, give us (your support team) your name & a brief commitment for the next hour (desktop or credenza clear, floor piles eliminated, email directory cleared…)
  6. At 3pm ET, call back in, report progress, set a new commitment
  7. At 4pm ET, report in and celebrate your successes!
  8. Optional- use the bonus hour, make another commitment and wrap it up at 5pm ET

Clients have joined these marathons before; I’d like to open this one up to anyone who wants to make SURE they start June with a great office environment. Please share the information with anyone who might be interested.

The purpose is to make 100% sure that you will clean up your office this Friday.  Everyone on the call will start June in a much more supportive environment. Your “to-do” list or “tolerations” list will be cleared of this incredibly boring but necessary task. How cool is that?!

See you on the call, barbara

OH- if the link doesn’t work- and I set it up myself, so it might not- stand by for more info before Friday!
